Happy Hanukkah to you, your family, and friends! Have you been going through what seems like an all out blitz of opposition from your adversary the devil? Well, you are not alone. There are many just like you who are experiencing great spiritual battles and the devil wants you to focus on his attacks against you so that you are so distracted and spiritually fatigued that you are unaware that the Spirit of the Lord is calling you to be still and know God is still God on the throne.
The story of Hanukkah is one of great trial, tribulation, oppression, and restoration and also of a God of victory over all his enemies. Your enemies are His enemies. This is the time of the year to rededicate ourselves to the Lord for the new year ahead. It's a time of consecration and in someways a time of pruning to bring forth new fruit in abundance in our lives that brings glory to God. It is a time of new beginnings and the dawning of a new day. Hallelujah!
The Feast of Hanukkah is also known as the Feast of Rededication and the Festival of Lights. Most importantly, Hanukkah is the story of Yeshua the True Light of the world. He is burning bright in the temple of God and you are that temple! Blessings!
