We Believe

 birthing sons through the gospel

God is love and His love for mankind is unsearchable and surpasses all knowledge. God has provided a way for all people to know and experience this great love through His only Son, Jesus Christ. The love of God never fails and nothing can separate those who believe from this great love.

  • In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 1 John 4:10

  • In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:9

  • But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Jehovah God is the one and only true God and Supreme Being. He exists eternally in the three persons of the Godhead: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

  • Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! Deuteronomy 6:4

  • For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 1 John 5:7

  • But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me. John 15:26

Israel, as God’s chosen people. God promised Abraham all the people of the earth would be blessed if they believed God as Abraham did.

  • I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you; and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed. Genesis 12:2-3

  • But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham, my friend; you whom I took from the ends of the earth, and called from its farthest corners, saying to you, “You are my servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off.” Isaiah 41:8-9

  • O offspring of Abraham, his servant, children of Jacob, his chosen ones!          Psalm 105:6

The Bible is the inerrant Word of God, inspired by His Holy Spirit, and contains knowledge and answers all questions pertaining to life and godliness.

  • Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:2-4

  • All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17

  • And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:19-21

God created man in His likeness and image.

  • Then God said, Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness. Genesis 1:26

  • Know that the LORD, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Psalm 100:3

  • In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God. Genesis 5:1

Eternal salvation through faith in Jesus Christ is a free gift from God. Sin separated man from God, but had a plan of redemption ready before the world was ever created. God wanted a family and fellowship!

  • For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

  • For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9

  • For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. John 3:16-17

God calls us to sonship through Jesus Christ. Salvation is a free gift provided to whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord. Salvation is more than living forever in heaven. It is being adopted into the family of God and becoming heirs with Jesus.

  • But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13

  • For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. Romans 8:14-17

  • And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!” Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ. Galatians 4:6-7

Jesus personally demonstrated and taught all believers ought to be water baptized. Water baptism is how believers publically identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

  • Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life. Romans 6:3-4

  • Having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead. Colossians 2:12

  • Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. Mark 16:16

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is freely given by God to every believer. The Holy Spirit infills and infuses every believer with the very nature and character of God, enabling the believer to walk in His righteousness, not our own, and by the grace of God.

  • He saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, Titus 3:5

  • But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you. John 14:26

  • And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are available to all believers. These gifts are supernatural in nature and are for strengthening and building the Body of Christ. The manifestation of these gifts demonstrate God’s power and existence to unbelievers. All the gifts are in operation today and available for all believers demonstrate. Healing, tongues, deliverance, miracles, signs and wonders are all a part of the supernatural inheritance given to believers by the Father in heaven.

  • But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. 1 Corinthians 12:7-10

  • Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however, in the spirit he speaks mysteries. But he who prophesies speaks edification and exhortation and comfort to men. He who speaks in a tongue edifies himself, but he who prophesies edifies the church. 1 Corinthians 14:1-4

  • But if all prophesy, and an unbeliever or an uninformed person comes in, he is convinced by all, he is convicted by all. And thus the secrets of his heart are revealed; and so, falling down on his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you. 1 Corinthians 14:24-25

Divine healing is a way of life for believers through Jesus, He is the Great Physician. Healing is not limited to physical healing, but it is also for the mind, will and emotions to bring restoration in every area - the spirit, soul and body.

  • The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD. Luke 4:18-19

  • That evening they brought to him many who were oppressed by demons, and he cast out the spirits with a word and healed all who were sick. This was to fulfill what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah: “He took our illnesses and bore our diseases.” Matthew 8:16-17

  • And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” Matthew 16:15-18

Jesus taught 'Hell' is a real place 'prepared' for Satan and demons. It is a place of eternal separation from God; where those who refused the free gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ will experience unimaginable pain and torment, without hope of ever escaping.

  • “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. Matthew 25:41

  • If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. Matthew 5:29-30

  • The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and those who practice lawlessness, and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 13:41-42

Jesus said He would return. He will take to Himself all who accepted Him as Lord and Savior to be with Him for all eternity.

  • who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:11

  • Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown. Revelation 3:11

  • And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. Revelation 22:12
