Notes: Dream Sorcery Part 2 of 5

We are in a war and witchcraft is a weapon the enemy uses against believers. Many people do not understand this or just do not believe it is real because their pastors don’t or they just don’t teach them about these things.

Witchcraft is not just being practiced by witchdoctors like in the movies. It is being practiced by highly educated people and it has been practiced by them for a long time. There are courses on witchcraft and demon possession in colleges and Ivy League schools everywhere.

Example: God showed me in a dream I made the witches list. First I saw people wandering around with a fog covering them from the waist down. Then a wind came and pushed them forward to the place they first intended to go to…their destiny.

God has his intercessors and so does the devil. God assigns intercessors to people, regions, groups, and so does the devil. This is war and most Christians are not aware that they are in a war.

The Lord revealed to me that many are suffering attacks through dreams or what’s called ‘dream sorcery’. You are being targeted.

In the OT altars were built to offer sacrifices and offerings to God. The same was done for false gods. Today we no longer build physical altars to offer sacrifices to God because our sacrifices to God are now thanksgiving and praise. We build spiritual altars and so do the witches and warlocks.

Witches will build dream altars through rituals and sacrifices (usually using personal effects, their own blood, bones of dead animals, body fluids) that will create an altar to a demon in the spirit realm to do their bidding. They always have to attach their spells and curses to the elements to use as a vehicle to deliver to the intended target.

We have dominion even over the elements.

Genesis 1:26-28

26 Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth." 27 So God created man in His [own] image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

And Abraham heard this and knew that it was the word of Satan who endeavored to draw him aside from the way of the Lord, but Abraham would not hearken to the voice of Satan, and Abraham rebuked him so that he went away. 29. And Satan returned and came to Isaac; and he appeared unto Isaac in the figure of a young man comely and well favored. 30. And he approached Isaac and said unto him, Dost thou not know and understand that thy old silly father bringeth thee to the slaughter this day for naught? 31. Now therefore, my son, do not listen nor attend to him, for he is a silly old man, and let not thy precious soul and beautiful figure be lost from the earth. 32. And Isaac heard this, and said unto Abraham, Hast thou heard, my father, that which this man has spoken? even thus has he spoken. 33. And Abraham answered his son Isaac and said to him, Take heed of him and do not listen to his words, nor attend to him, for he is Satan, endeavoring to draw us aside this day from the commands of God. 34. And Abraham still rebuked Satan, and Satan went from them, and seeing he could not prevail over them he hid himself from them, and he went and passed before them in the road; and he transformed himself to a large brook of water in the road, and Abraham and Isaac and his two young men reached that place, and they saw a brook large and powerful as the mighty waters. 35. And they entered the brook and passed through it, and the waters at first reached their legs. 36. And they went deeper in the brook and the waters reached up to their necks, and they were all terrified on account of the water; and whilst they were going over the brook Abraham recognized that place, and he knew that there was no water there before. 37. And Abraham said to his son Isaac, I know this place in which there was no brook nor water, now therefore it is this Satan who does all this to us, to draw us aside this day from the commands of God. 38. And Abraham rebuked him and said unto him, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan, begone from us for we go by the commands of God. 39. And Satan was terrified at the voice of Abraham, and he went away from them, and the place again became dry land as it was at first. 40. And Abraham went with Isaac toward the place that God had told him. 41. And on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place at a distance which God had told him of.

Galatians 4:1-3, 9 RSV

1 I mean that the heir, as long as he is a child, is no better than a slave, though he is the owner of all the estate; 2 but he is under guardians and trustees until the date set by the father. 3 So with us; when we were children, we were slaves to the elemental spirits of the universe…. 9 but now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and beggarly elemental spirits, whose slaves you want to be once more?

Colossians 2:8

8 See to it that no one makes a prey of you by philosophy and empty deceit, according to human tradition, according to the elemental spirits of the universe, and not according to Christ. 9

Colossians 2:20

20 If with Christ you died to the elemental spirits of the universe, why do you live as if you still belonged to the world?

Jesus demonstrated how to deal with elementals

Matthew 8:18-28 RSV

18 Now when Jesus saw great crowds around him, he gave orders to go over to the other side. 19 And a scribe came up and said to him, "Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go." 20 And Jesus said to him, "Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has nowhere to lay his head." 21 Another of the disciples said to him, "Lord, let me first go and bury my father." 22 But Jesus said to him, "Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead." 23 And when he got into the boat, his disciples followed him. 24 And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves; but he was asleep. 25 And they went and woke him, saying, "Save, Lord; we are perishing." 26 And he said to them, "Why are you afraid, O men of little faith?" Then he rose and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. 27 And the men marveled, saying, "What sort of man is this, that even winds and sea obey him?" 28 And when he came to the other side, to the country of the Gadarenes, two demoniacs met him, coming out of the tombs, so fierce that no one could pass that way.

I point this out to you to show you that you have authority over all the works of the devil, including witchcraft, black-magic, and dream magic.

1 John 3:8 NKJV

8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Luke 10:19-20 NKJV

19 "Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 "Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather rejoice because your names are written in heaven."

• Break the spells and incantations.

• Break all likeness being used as a point of contact for the intended target.

• Bind the spirits summoned and assigned to fulfill the curse.

• Break all yokes, chains, cords, bands and fetters being used to bind, restrain, and contain the person.

• Release the healing virtue of Jesus Christ to heal where healing is needed

They come in dreams to torment, defile, and program you.

Usually to mislead, destroy marriages, families, business, and ministries. They will cause affliction, pain, infirmity, spirit marriages, rebellion, rage, accidences, miscarriages, lack, limitation, poverty,

Zechariah 10:2

For the household gods utter nonsense, and the diviners see lies; they tell false dreams and give empty consolation. Therefore the people wander like sheep; they are afflicted for lack of a shepherd.
