Truth Has Not Failed You

Shalom Pillars,

So here I am at 2:42 AM, unable to sleep. As I sought the Lord for understanding through intercession, I began to sense the weight of a spirit of retaliation and a mocking spirit manifesting. These two began producing discouragement and depression. I began to feel as if I wanted to give up and throw in the towel, as the expression goes. I even began to feel tempted to be angry with God.

Here is the word of the Lord concerning this:

There are some being attacked for standing on the side of righteousness on the job and in the house of the Lord. Even within the family, there are divisions over being too serious about the Lord. Rejection and condemnation is the favorite weapon the enemy loves to wound with.

There are some who recently made a conscious decision to return to the Lord to serve Him with all your strength and all your might. “I will wean myself off of that and no longer compromise”, is what you said to Him, and this time you really meant it. Now that you are filled with the joy of the Lord you are being mocked and ridiculed for not running with the crowd any longer. You are treated as an enemy and have become the target of jokes because of your newfound relationship with the Lord. Being made into an outcast seems to be the reward for your heartfelt repentance. Tempted to renounce your faith? Tempted to be angry with God? Hold your peace, refuse to lose the joy you recently drew from the wells of salvation.

There are others who have finally grown tired of abusing _______________. You fill in the blank. Physical, sexual, mental, emotion…for many, it’s chemical abuse. Years and years of chemical abuse with years of failing to quit. This time you meant it and you are doing it. Legs a little wobbly, a mistake here and a mistake there, but you’re trying hard and you’re doing it. It gets better. Just keep walking with the Lord and let Him lead.

Don’t give up. Don’t give in. You are being tested and tried. You will come forth as gold.

Isaiah 59:15, Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The LORD looked and was displeased that there was no justice.

It is not the Lord trying to take you out. It is not the Lord who is testing you beyond what you are able to bear. It is your adversary the devil who is determined to keep you from walking in the fullness of what God has prepared for you….His blessing.

Understand that the minute you turned to the Lord with all your heart the devil marked you as prey. You must also understand that the Lord marked you first with His blood and that He is also offended that you have been made a prey by the devil.

You’ve taken some hard hits from the enemy, maybe even using your friends and family. Betrayal on the job, at your place of worship, etc. Remember, it is because you turned from evil with all your heart that you find yourself in a time of war. You made the right decision. You must not turn back. You must keep moving forward. You are drawing near to your redemption.

In other words, your struggle is about to dissipate, evaporate. A new day with a new morning is coming with a fresh supply of supernatural joy. God heard you when you said, I’m never going back! He said, Yes and Amen!

Jeremiah 30:15-17, 15 Why do you cry about your affliction? Your sorrow is incurable. Because of the multitude of your iniquities, because your sins have increased, I have done these things to you. 16 'Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured; and all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; those who plunder you shall become plunder, And all who prey upon you I will make a prey. 17 for I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds,' says the LORD, 'because they called you an outcast saying: "This is Zion; No one seeks her."

Your day of healing and freedom. True freedom and liberty in the Lord is coming. It has been commanded to find you and to rest upon you, but you must continue in the things you are doing to fulfill your vow to the Lord. He will see to it that you are restored and made whole. What others and you would have never imagined possible the Lord will do for you compelled by His great love for you.

Pray for those who have persecuted and betrayed you. Bless those who have mocked you and the Lord will be merciful to them. In fact, He expects you to. So do I. Reconciliation is the target the enemy does want you to hit, but the Lord has just filled your quiver to the full. Go for it!

Zechariah 4:6-7, 6 So he answered and said to me: "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' Says the LORD of hosts. 7 'Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! And he shall bring forth the capstone with shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"

The Lord will make the thief restore seven-fold what he has taken from you or destroyed. The Lord will first remove all legal right the devil had and enforced to gain access to you. What seemed for years to be like a mountain in your path that prevented you from walking in your destiny, the Lord will remove in a day from before you. You will begin to move forward in a newfound liberty and confidence that will also be contagious.

Habakkuk 1:5 "Look among the nations and watch--Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you.

Do not be afraid to believe this time. Don’t play it safe! Trust and obey the Lord. Step out of the boat. You won’t sink. You won’t drown. The Lord Himself will help you, but you have to step out. It’s not faith until it’s tested. You will see that you are free…and He who the Son sets free is free indeed!

Act 13:41 'Behold, you despisers, Marvel and perish! For I work a work in your days, A work which you will by no means believe, Though one were to declare it to you.'

The Lord will leave those who have contended with you, who have not supported you, but turned their backs to you instead, speechless when they see with their own eyes what great and mighty things the Lord has done for you. It’s true!

They will seek you and court your favor.

Psalm 91:4, He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler.

John 14:6, Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life…

Be encouraged. The Lord Himself is with you to strengthen you. He will lead and guide you into the place of victory He has already secured for you.

No earthly judge can annul His verdicts and decrees over you.

He is your shield. Take refuge under His wings. You’ve got the victory!

Receive this blessing:

The Lord bless you and keep you;

The Lord make His face shine upon you,

And give you rest;

The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,

And give you Shalom (peace).
