Happy Independence Day
Shalom Pillars,
The blessing, peace, and the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, flow freely in your life today. I pray everyone had an awesome Independence Day yesterday with family and friends! We are living during this time in our country that seems confused, chaotic, and destructive, but we must remind ourselves God chose this time for us to be alive on the earth, and living in America. Yes, for such a time as this. Yes, to make a difference. Yes, to be a light. Yes, to be a voice. YES!
I want to encourage you to stay alert mentally and spiritually, as Timothy said, Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, 1 Peter 5:8. Don't be quick to believe everything you see in the news, cable or local television. Especially if what you are watching or listening to is only making you emotional and provoking you to act outside your character...you have not so learned Christ.
This I say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles walk, in the futility of their mind, having their understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; who, being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. But you have not so learned Christ, Ephesians 4:17-20
God's not mocked so you don't have to be fooled. That's good news. You don't have to be fooled or deceived by the misleading and dishonest information flooding television, cable, and social media today in order to program and control the masses. It will require you being informed and educating yourself to know the truth when you hear it. Remember, God sees everything being done in secret. Rather, be moved by the Spirit of God by being filled with Him and cry out for His discernment. Be informed and ready to speak up when you should speak up. Always give testimony of your faith in Jesus Christ, who He has become to you, and why you know beyond the shadow of a doubt that is He is God and is alive forevermore. God will always back you up and confirm His Word through you 100%. Again, Happy Independence Day, and pray for America.
