Be Encouraged, Your Change Will Come
During my time of prayer and devotion this morning, I felt impressed by the Spirit to send this word to a friend in another country. After I sent it to him, I felt impressed again to send this out to the corporate body.
By the time Job utters these words, he has lost everything - his possessions, wealth, servants, children and even his health. The Bible says he was struck with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head. See 1:11-13. Jobs friend were so horrified at the sight of him that they cried out and tore their robs. They sat with him and grieved for 7 days and night without speaking a word...unimaginable. Job says something so power in 14:7-9, that there is hope for a tree if it is cut down that it will sprout again. He was speaking of himself. He was encouraging himself in the Lord. Sound familiar? Then Job goes on to say that he only has one life and that he knows beyond the shadow of a doubt that God will not leave him in this horrid condition. He begins to decree that he will wait on the Lord until his change comes. Job knew change was coming and would come. We know how the story ends...change came for Job and what a transition it was! Hallelujah! The Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. Be encouraged, your change will come...
Father,
I trust You; though You slay me, yet I will still trust you God. Anoint me with Your grace and mercy to wait...until You bring my change.
Bless the name of the Lord,
Yeshua
Shalom,
Samuel
