Thus says the Lord: First things first, 2016 is behind you. Forget about the compromise, failures, and mismanagement of the Lord’s resources. Yes, you blew it, but the Lord is rich in mercy and His lovingkindness has been renewed for you in 2017. Believe it or not; you’ve learned much by the mistakes you’ve made. So it’s time to stop blaming everyone else for the mess you’ve gotten yourself into. Stop being superficial and super-spiritual and confess your sin to God and be cleansed. He still has need of you. You are still important to Him and to His plan which He is unfolding and activating for 2017. Be encouraged, you will be used mightily, even though some may say you are beyond usefulness to the Lord. Their words have no power over you. You are still seeded and pregnant with potential. Be encouraged and you will hear. When you hear, obey. When you obey, the breakthrough will come. Who is he who speaks and it comes to pass, When the Lord has not commanded it? Lamentations 3:37
