What I am going to share with you in this message was birthed out of a prophetic word the Lord had me release in December 2017 titled 2018.
Let not your heart be troubled. 2018 will be another year of great potential for the Church and for the Believer. During intercession today the Lord spoke to me and said 2017 has been designed to purify and equip His people to overcome the many trials and tests coming to America and the world. The war in the heavenlies will spill over into the natural, but let your heart not be troubled. This will be the year that many who have been in the furnace of affliction designed to purify and remove unrighteousness in the mind, will, and emotions, and who have persevered, these will become a type of Goshen. In a time of what seems to be total chaos and lawlessness, God will reveal His end-time Josephs to be favored by the Pharaohs of the earth. When the shaking begins and the world body governmental structures begin to stall and even fail, God will begin to prosper and favor His people in ways that cannot be framed nor contained alone by finances and material things. God’s people must begin to be motivated and moved by things beyond the things of this world. Windows of opportunity will present themselves for God’s people to expand their territories in all realms and fields of industry and in doing so establish a greater degree of the realm of the Kingdom of Heaven here on earth. Angels of dominion and power will be released in 2018 to link arms with faithful and faith-filled believers who will receive the mark of the Father’s command to be blessed, to be fruitful and to multiply on the earth. This will be a year of great, and at times, intense dimensional battles, but the victory has already been written and declared from heaven! Cry out to God and give Him no rest until He reveals His strategy for you to obtain your victory this year, stay focused and let nothing distract nor discourage you in 2018. If you hear and obey, then you will see and know the strategy of the Lord for 2018 and you be a carrier of many miraculous works that Yahweh will perform to distinguish His people from those in the world. Yield without measure in 2018 and you will see God move in ways you have not known until now. Great and mighty are His works prepared for you. You are the people of God. Amen and amen.
The first thing God says about 2018 is “let not your heart be troubled” because this year has great potential. Then He says the spiritual battles we fought in 2017 will spill over into the natural in 2018, but then He reminds us again, “let not your hearts be troubled”. Why? Because 2018 is filled with potential for you, but you will not know it if you are troubled in your heart (mind, will, and emotions).
Another thing the Lord instructs us to do is to be moved and motivated by things beyond the things of this world. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:17-18. In other words, we must be Kingdom minded. If we are Kingdom minded we will have a Kingdom perspective on everything we are going through and everything God has called us to.
If we will do this as faithful and faith-filled believers then we will have the mark of the Father’s command to be blessed, be fruitful, and multiply on the earth. This is the same command from God to the first Melchizedek of the earth, Adam. It is the double-portion anointing, which simply is the birthright and the blessing, to rule and reign on the earth as God’s representative but to also serve before the altar of Yahweh in the courts of heaven as an intercessor for the people of Yahweh.
This is the reason for the intense dimensional battles taking place in your life today. The adversary of your soul will stop at nothing to prevent you from allowing God to transform you into a new and sharp weapon in His hand. This is why He admonishes us “be distracted nor discouraged in 2018” because what you are going through is designed to bring you to a new place of victory the enemy fears you reaching. If you are distracted from your relationship with God and His promises for your life, or if you are discouraged this year by the trials and tribulations of the day then you are in intense dimensional battles, and you may not even realize it. Be reminded that God has already declared your victory from heaven last year December 2017. Merry Christmas!
God wants to encourage us tonight by revealing this one thing, no matter what you may be going through today, no matter how difficult, how painful, or even if what you are going through is self-inflicted by a bad decision or behavior, God is still with you.
Isaiah 43:2, “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.”
You may be going through the most intense testing and trials you have ever experienced from God, but you can be sure of this, even if you are not able to hear or feel His presence in the midst of your trial, God is still with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you as He has promised in His Word.
Deuteronomy 4:31 "for the LORD your God is a merciful God, He will not forsake you nor destroy you, nor forget the covenant of your fathers which He swore to them.
Deuteronomy 31:6, 8 "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you." ... 8 "And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."
Joshua 1:5 "No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you.
1 Chronicles 28:20 And David said to his son Solomon, "Be strong and of good courage, and do it; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God--my God--will be with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you, until you have finished all the work for the service of the house of the LORD.
2 Chronicles 15:2 And he went out to meet Asa, and said to him: "Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you while you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.
Hebrews 13:5 Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
Be strengthen and encouraged by God’s Word and not distracted nor discouraged by a bad report from your doctor. Be strengthen and encouraged by God’s Word and not distracted nor discouraged by the loss of a job. Be strengthen and encouraged by God’s Word and not distracted nor discouraged by the loss of material possessions. Amen? The Word of God is already and forever settled in heaven, Period, and He promised to never leave you nor forsake you. He even answers before you ask for help. YES, I WILL HELP YOU.
Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.'
I had a dream a few days ago on February 10. In the dream, I was in my kitchen with Abba. He was at the counter with His back to me. I was behind Him leaning on the counter across from Him. His back was facing me. He said I want to show you something as He opened a drawer next to Him and pulled out the can opener. I realize he had some sort of can good on the counter in from of Him. When He was done opening it, He turned around, pulled the lid off the can, and handed it to me. I looked in and saw it was filled with worms! I turned to Him and said its worms! Angry and wanting to vomit, I said it again, You opened a can of worms! I didn’t find it funny as He stood there with a smile on His face. I slammed the can down on the counter and as I turned to walk away I notice the label on the can had only one word on it in bold dark letters – SAMUEL. Shocked and afraid of what it could mean, I quickly turned back to Him for understanding only to see Him still looking at me with a big smile and both hands on His hips, and I instantly woke from the dream. End.
“2018 will be another year of great potential for the Church and for the Believer…”
Dictionary.com lists the following definitions for potential:
possible but not yet actual
capable of being or becoming
capable of being or becoming but not yet in existence; latent
expressing possibility, as may and might
someone or something that is considered a worthwhile possibility
latent but unrealized ability or capacity
the inherent ability or capacity for growth, development, or coming into being
The interpretation of the dream is simple: For the purpose of this message, you are the can of worms the Lord will have to open in order to bring forth the great potential He sees in you for this year. You may not realize your ability or capacity for growth and development that will cause you to come into being all that God has called you into being, but He considers you a worthwhile possibility if you will endure His exposing of self to you.
He will do this by way of circumstances and situations that will prove to yourself if you really believe what you say you believe. Do you love unconditionally? You will find out if you do. Do you serve Him for who He is, or do you serve Him for what He can do for you? You will find out this year. The purpose is not to shame or condemn us, but to correct our motives and intentions of our hearts. This will bring much-needed healing, maturity, growth, and increase in our lives.
Isaiah 41:10-16, 10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.' 11 "Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced; They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish. 12 You shall seek them and not find them--Those who contended with you. Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing. 13 For I, the LORD your God, will hold your right hand, Saying to you, 'Fear not, I will help you.' 14 "Fear not, you worm Jacob, You men of Israel! I will help you," says the LORD And your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel. 15 "Behold, I will make you into a new threshing sledge with sharp teeth; You shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, And make the hills like chaff. 16 You shall winnow them, the wind shall carry them away, And the whirlwind shall scatter them; You shall rejoice in the LORD, And glory in the Holy One of Israel.
Fear not, I am with you
Be not dismayed, I am your God
I will strengthen you
Yes, I will help you
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand
Fear not, I will help you
Fear not, you worm. I will help you.
Fear not, I will help you? Help us what? Come into being. It is simple as that.
This is why He said at the beginning of the year, Let not your hearts be troubled because He would be revealing our hearts through the tests and trials we are experiencing today. It is easy to see the world seems to be in total chaos; wars and rumors of war, famine, sickness, disease, broken families, civil disobedience, and the list goes on and on. Let’s make it personal now, what is going on in your life that is testing and trying you? In short, He has opened a can of worms in our lives to reveal ourselves to us, but also to prove Himself faithful and loving towards us. There is no place in heaven, or on earth, even hell, that Yeshua doesn’t have all authority over. Remember? YES, I WILL HELP YOU.
John 14:1 "Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
The word troubled in this verse is the Greek word tarassō. It means the following: to agitate, trouble (a thing, by the movement of its parts to and fro); to cause one inward commotion, take away his calmness of mind, disturb his equanimity; to disquiet, make restless; to stir up; to trouble; to strike one's spirit with fear and dread; to render anxious or distressed; to perplex the mind of one by suggesting scruples or doubts.
I promise you today that God has opened you, you can of worms. But His purpose is to bring you to a greater place of victory, dominion and power of the Holy Spirit in your life and nothing less. His purpose is that you would begin to walk His authority.
If you are troubled in your heart, which is your mind, will, and emotions, then congratulations! You have been chosen by the God, who knew you before He formed you in the womb for the greatest spiritual blessing this year that you have ever experienced. It has not even entered your heart what God has prepared for you. Trust Him without measure. Stay the course, and lift your vision higher. You will begin to see clearly, He is with you and is helping you.
What part are you to play in this plan of God? Believe and yield…without measure. That’s it. We only have to believe. What we believe determines our actions. That is why Yeshua said, you believe in God, believe in Me also. The power of agreement between the Father and the Son is unbreakable, and also eternal. Do you know they were in agreement for your life and destiny before the world ever was? Meditate on that for a while.
What to DO and NOT DO during this time is the question.
What Not To Do
Philippians 2:14-17, 14 Do all things without complaining and disputing, 15 that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world, 16 holding fast the word of life, so that I may rejoice in the day of Christ that I have not run in vain or labored in vain. 17 Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all.
Just when I think I have it down; no complaining and no disputing, it happens, something knocks me off my game! I’m telling you now if you think you have this passage down in your life, then your can of worms has not been opened yet. Be alert. Be sober. It will come. You will stand.
That’s why it is important that we understand what God is doing in our lives today so that we know and understand His thought and intent toward us. In other words, we have a clear vision and understanding of what He is doing. We are to be conforming to the image of Christ. Complaining, disputing and arguing with God and each other will hinder and even possible destroy the spiritual growth God intends for us this year. We are to work out our salvation this year by NOT complaining, disputing and arguing. Think about what you say and do before you say it and do it.
This is important for us to know and understand because we live in a world built and that thrives on complaining and arguing. There is no church, home, business, etc. that is free of complaining and arguing.
We all know that complaining and arguing began in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve. They were deceived by Satan into questioning God’s motives for them and they became discontent with the plan of God for their lives. How did Satan do this? He lied and deceived them into believing God is controlling and withholding His best from them and even keeping them from reaching their full potential. They didn’t know they were already at their full potential. “Did God say not to eat of the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil?” “God knows something you don’t know, and that is when you eat of this tree you will be transformed into a god just like Him!” Satan deceived them into not believing and trusting God’s plan for them, causing them to become discontent in their hearts, which brought forth vain imaginations exalting themselves against the knowledge of God producing the fruit of unrighteousness, pride and then The Fall.
Isn’t this the state of the world today? Is there anything we are not discontent with? We are discontent with our jobs, our homes, our electronics, our cars, our clothes, our families, our friends, our churches, our leaders, the worship, the lighting, the seating, the sermons, the offerings, the members, and even our country. There is nothing safe from complaining and being blamed for our shortcomings. Our nature is to complain. It started with Adam who blamed Eve who blamed Satan, but remember, Paul said we are to “do everything without complaining or arguing”.
Complaining can be translated as grumbling. Grumbling in the Greek means low, as in the meditations of the heart; threatening, discontented mutterings of a mob who distrusts their leaders and are on the verge of an uprising. It is a verbal expression of one’s dissatisfaction with circumstances. Whoa.
The word arguing in the Greek means dialogue. It describes our inner reasoning as we argue in our minds and one’s outer reasoning with our mouths. When we are discontent, we tent to argue both in our minds and with our mouths – with ourselves, other people, and with God. This is the can of worms we must rid ourselves of as we work out our salvation.
The classic example we can learn from in the Bible is the story of the children of Israel in their wilderness wanderings. After God delivered them from Egypt and into the wilderness, they complained about a lack of water and a lack of food. You can read about it in Exodus 15 and 16. In Numbers 11 they complained about their trials in the wilderness, and how they wanted meat. Their entire time in the wilderness they complained about Moses and God. God judged them and many died not reaching the full potential God had planned for them.
1 Corinthians 10:9-12, 9 Nor let us try the Lord, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the serpents. 10 Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the destroyer. 11 Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. 12 Therefore let him who thinks he stands take heed that he does not fall.
One thing we should learn from Israel’s wilderness wanderings is that complaining is incompatible with our salvation. God saved them and delivered them from literal slavery in Egypt by working miraculous miracles and displaying His supernatural power bestowing His grace upon them, and He found their complaining and grumbling unacceptable and unreasonable. What about us? We have received much more grace and Yeshua has delivered us from slavery to sin, the world, and the devil. We have been granted eternal life and status as children of God and His heirs in Yeshua. How much more is our complaining a sin in the sight of God? We must work out our salvation without complaining and arguing.
Salvation can be many things, such as physical, emotional or relational healing. Salvation can be deliverance from bondage, addictions, poverty, etc. Whatever it is we need salvation from this year, it must be worked out without complaining and arguing with God.
Hebrews 12:15, See to it that no one comes short of the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by it many be defiled;
Complaining is not a little sin in the sight of God, it is a big sin. Why? Because bitterness and complaining are contagious. It prevents us from seeing all the grace and blessing of God that He has bestowed upon us, and this blindness spreads to others. It happened in the wilderness. Meditate on that. It happens in all organizations, families, jobs, churches then limits and sometimes destroys natural and spiritual growth.
Ways to remove complaining and arguing from our lives:
Learn to trust God more than ever with our circumstances. Because we don’t trust we tend to complain and argue with Him and others. The Lord is good and everything that’s good comes from Him. He is how we define good and when we complain we challenge His nature and His goodness with our thoughts and words. When we trust that He is with us and will help us to work out all things for our good, then this new found trust will deliver us from complaining and arguing – about God, with God and others.
Ephesians 1:1-2, 1 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus: 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
God works out everything for us according to the counsel of His own will. He is in control of everything. He is sovereign. He controls the heart of man as a person moves water around in their hand. Proverbs 21:1. It is difficult to understand and believe God is in control of all things, but it is important to remember He has given us a will of our own and the right to choose to obey Him. In order to not complain we must trust God, but also acknowledge He sovereignty over all things, including our lives.
1 Timothy 6:8-9, 8 If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
If we have what we need, food, covering (shelter, clothes, security) then we should be content with what God has provided, even if it is only the basics. Paul learned to be content in every circumstance whether it be prosperity or lack because of God’s power working in him, as he wrote in Philippians.
Philippians 4:11-13, 11 Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. 12 I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. 13 I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
How do we learn contentment? We learn contentment by finding our fullness and satisfaction in God.
Act 17:28, "for in Him we live and move and have our being, as also some of your own poets have said, 'For we are also His offspring.'
Remember the worms in the can represent complaining and arguing, which is also grumbling. This is what not to do in 2018.
Since the word God gave me for 2018 makes reference to end-time Josephs coming forth, I will use him as an example of what we should do in 2018.
What To Do
Be like Joseph. Sounds easy right?
Today, I hear people say God told them to do this or to do that, but they say to God, “Aw God! I don’t want to!” God will tell them over and over, but they still don’t do it. Then when they are in a bind they expect God to jump and save them from their afflictions. If we can hear God speaking to us and we are still disobedient, what does this say about Joseph in the Bible who God never spoke to?
In 2018, we must be like Joseph and walk like Joseph. He was a faithful and faith-filled believer in God and His promises made to his forefathers. Joseph was unwavering in his faith.
We can see Genesis divided into three sections. Chapter 1-11 some of the major figures are Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel; and Noah. God speaks to each one except Abel. Chapters 12-36, are the stories of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs, and God speaks to them. The last and third section are Chapters 37-50. This section the family of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs transform itself into a nation by the twelve sons of Jacob as they become the twelve tribes of Israel. The key figure God uses to achieve this is Joseph, but how in the world with Joseph know what to do if God does not instruct him? Jacob hands Joseph this task and makes him the custodian of the Patriarchal/Matriarchal Covenant. Joseph receives the promise from Jacob. Joseph teaches it to his brothers. Then transfers it to the next generation.
The promise is simple. It is the one made by God to Abraham. The children of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs will go down to Egypt, become a great nation, become slaves, and then God will redeem them and bring them to the Promised Land. This is huge and Joseph is the custodian of this promise. God never once talks to Joseph. Is God silent in your life today?
Joseph had to interpret dreams. First, his own, then the baker and wine steward’s dreams. He had to interpret the Pharaoh’s dream, which caused him to be placed in a position of power that God would use to fulfill His promise to the Hebrews. Joseph is also thrown into a pit by his own brothers and sold into slavery. He is also thrown into prison in Egypt not once, but twice. He is propositioned by his master’s wife, resists and is falsely accused by her. God never once talks to Joseph.
After Joseph is promoted in Egypt, he is married. He ensures that Egypt is well prepared for the famine to come. God never speaks to Joseph. Then one day while Joseph was managing the food supply during the famine his brothers appeared to buy food for their starving families. They do not recognize him so Joseph tests them to see if they regretted their hatred of him and have repented of their sin of selling him into slavery. The whole time God never talks to Joseph.
When his brothers demonstrate their repentance, he is reunited with them. He demonstrates his forgiveness by stating, “I am your brother Joseph, whom you sold into slavery in Egypt.” Meaning, despite what you did, I am still your brother. In all of this, God never talks to Joseph.
We know from the story that even though God never spoke to Joseph, His silence never meant He was not with Joseph and that He was not there to help him.
Genesis 39:2-3, 2 The LORD was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. 3 And his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand.
We know not only was God with Joseph, but He prospered all that Joseph did, but He never spoke to Joseph.
Genesis 39:19-21, 19 So it was, when his master heard the words which his wife spoke to him, saying, "Your servant did to me after this manner," that his anger was aroused. 20 Then Joseph's master took him and put him into the prison, a place where the king's prisoners were confined. And he was there in the prison. 21 But the LORD was with Joseph and showed him mercy, and He gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.
Joseph’s situation is now worse than ever. Because of a false witness from Potiphar’s wife, even though he was totally innocent, Joseph was thrown into prison. God was with Joseph, but He never spoke. Do you feel your situation could get any worse? Do you feel it is more than you can bear? Please remember, God is still with you. He is with you when things are fine and nearer to you than the very breath you breathe in the worst of situations. Remember?
Fear not, I am with you
Be not dismayed, I am your God
I will strengthen you
Yes, I will help you
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand
Saying to you, Fear not, I will help you
Fear not, you worm. I will help you.
He knows what He is doing and is working things out for your life in ways you do not even understand. Trust Him and yield to Him without measure. It will get better for you. It worked out for Joseph, his family, and the nation, and it will work out for you too. They are still here. You are still here. Most importantly, God’s still here. Hey!
So what exactly is the meaning of God’s silence in all of Joseph’s trials? The Torah, or Covenant, is not a book where God is shy, reluctant or hesitant to speak. After Joseph dies, Moses comes on the scene and God has much to say to him, even face to face as a man speaks to his friend. So what’s the deal with God not speaking to poor innocent Joseph? Joseph certainly could have cursed the day he was born, refuse to serve God, and even blame God for all his misfortunes, but Joseph seems to have chosen to let his heart not be troubled. He let the meditation of his heart be the promises of God and the trials and testings of God was the vehicle Joseph used to obtain them.
Proverbs 22:6, Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
In order for the sacred family to become the sacred nation they had the potential to become, God had to be silent in order for Joseph to demonstrate that what God taught his parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, back to Abraham and Sarah, he had learned and applied. The test is this that Joseph could live and act without God speaking a single word to him. In Jewish thought three is the minimum number for confirmation. One is just that and nothing more, two is just a coincidence, but three means something has been established. For three generations God has been speaking to Patriarchs and Matriarchs and their families about the ways of justice and righteousness. They responded with faith, belief, and pursuing the one true God, the Creator. They poured this into their children and their children’s children. The test of their accomplishment is to see if whether or not the fourth generation, the generation of Joseph, the great-grandson of Abraham and Sarah, the grandson of Isaac and Rebecca, and the son of Jacob and Rachel, has made all this the very basis of their being. If God speaks to Joseph and instructs Joseph, we will not know that he is responding to the immediacy of God’s command, or if he, the great-grandchild of the first believers, is, in fact, a transformed person who by virtue of family instruction, and knows how he must behave from setting to setting. Only in God’s silence can he become the custodian of the promise made to Abraham and Sarah.
So I asked again, has God been silent lately? If so, you may have been chosen to be the next custodian of the promises of God for your family, for your generation. But before this happens, you will be required to show you have made the very promises of God the very basis of your being. If God were to speak to you during this time of divine silence in your life, we will not know if you are only responding to the voice of God or if you really are the transformed person you need to be to be one of God’s end-time Josephs. Just as God chose to use Joseph’s Patriarchs and Matriarchs to prepare him for this test, God has chosen spiritual fathers and spiritual mothers to teach you the promises of God, to pour them into your heart and soul, and to see to it that you adhere to them. God will use your parents, your pastors, youth pastors, teachers, basically, anyone who has godly influence over your life, God will use. This is the way God has chosen to test us all to see if we have really learned to keep the promises and to apply them. It is important to be properly aligned and connected. We all need instruction.
If God is being silent in your life today and you do not know what to do ask yourself this question? Did I learn and receive instruction from the spiritual fathers and mothers God sent to me? Did I honor them or did I complain and argue with them thinking I knew more than they? Answering this question inwardly should help bring clarity to some. If you honored them and received instruction from them, then do what you know you should be doing. God is watching and waiting for you to make the right decisions this year so that He may cause you to possess His promise.
I’ll leave you with the following passage.
Hebrews 11:8-16, 8 By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; 10 for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. 12 Therefore from one man, and him as good as dead, were born as many as the stars of the sky in multitude--innumerable as the sand which is by the seashore. 13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14 For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. 15 And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. 16 But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for He has prepared a city for them.
Teach me, and I will hold my tongue; Cause me to understand wherein I have erred. Job 6:24
In Yeshua’s name, I pray. Amen.
