Milk or Meat?

Just some food for thought...pun intended...
There is much being revealed in this one verse, but even more is being revealed within the context that it is being used in. The writer is obviously saying its time to grow up, which is why he uses the symbolism of milk and meat to give us a picture of the revelation we should be walking in today. Some one once said, I don't go to this church or that church anymore because all they serve there is milk and I need meat. That sounds deep, but it's really prideful to be honest. Anyway, in context this verse is speaking about the priesthood that Yeshua is officiating over today. v.9-12 And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him, called by God as High Priest “according to the order of Melchizedek,” of whom we have much to say, and hard to explain, since you have become dull of hearing. For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
It is very clear that by now we should be teachers of the revelation of this priesthood because if the Head is Melchizedek then stands to reason that the body must also be Melchizedek...kings of righteousness, not of works. What I am saying is this, the revelation of the Melchizedek priesthood is the very meat of God's Word. If we are not walking in this revelation...we are still on milk... In fact, the what the writer was really saying in this short passage is so deep that it would offend many people today, but I will leave it up you to search it out.
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but it is the glory of kings (Meleks) to search it out. Proverbs 25:2
